Michelle was our wonderful celebrant. When we first met Michelle we connected instantly, chatting and laughing until my partner cried. It felt very special that she was such a big part of our day. Michelle helped guide us through all of the wedding HR & Admin and was available to answer any of our questions along the way. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Having Michelle as our celebrant was one of the best decisions we could’ve made for our wedding! From the very start Michelle was warm, open & so helpful throughout the whole process. She answered all our questions, even the silly ones, putting our minds at ease & was professional but also personable the whole time. When we met up with her for the first time, we knew instantly we made the right decision with her. The day before & the day of the wedding she was so amazing, running through a quick rehearsal so we knew what we were doing, checking in on us before the ceremony was due to start & reassuring us that we were in good hands & didn’t have to do anything, she had it all under control. Michelle wrote the most beautiful script of our love story for the ceremony & summed up our life together perfectly. This is something we’ll treasure forever. She even stands to the side for the majority of the ceremony so she isn’t in too many photos, which I know a lot of people will love. We could not be happier with choosing Michelle as our celebrant & we would honestly choose her again if we had another wedding, she’s amazing! Yes! I’m a registered marriage celebrant with the Attorney-General’s Department and can legally marry couples anywhere in Australia.
As soon as you’ve locked in your date! Popular months can book out quickly, especially weekends.
Not at all. We can meet over Zoom or in person—whatever suits your schedule best.
I’ll walk you through all the legal bits nice and easy—nothing overwhelming here.
First up, we’ll complete your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least one month before the big day. The day before your wedding, we’ll sign a quick Declaration of No Legal Impediment (just to confirm there’s nothing stopping you from tying the knot).
During your ceremony, I’ll include the Monitum (that’s the official wording I legally need to say to make your marriage legit) at a natural point in the ceremony so it blends in without killing the vibe.
You’ll then say your legal vows while exchanging rings, keeping them separate from the personal vows you’ve written from the heart.
Once the “I do’s” are done, we’ll sign your Marriage Certificates (with your two witnesses), and then I’ll take care of registering your marriage with Births, Deaths & Marriages.
All simple, smooth, and sorted!
Absolutely. I encourage it! I’ll also give you tips and examples if you’re stuck.
Absolutely – but with a little twist! I like to keep the really special, personalised parts (the ones I’ve gathered from your questionnaire) a surprise for the day. It just hits differently when you hear those words for the first time in the moment. Trust me, it’s worth it.
What you will get is the “nuts and bolts” version of the ceremony: the structure, what happens when and all the important logistics. That way, you know exactly how it flowswithout spoiling the magic.
Most ceremonies run for around 20–30 minutes, depending on what you’d like to include.
I go wherever you go. Be it under umbrellas, marquees, or inside a cosy venue. I’m flexible and prepared.
I dress to suit your vibe and venue. Think professional yet stylish. Want a pop of colour or something low-key? Just say the word.
Yes! I’m based in the Illawarra but love an excuse for a road trip. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, just ask.
